Fundraise
If you have a flair for fundraising why not put it to good use for one of our projects. There are lots of different ways to fund raise. You might be interested in finding out about and filling in grant application forms, holding a coffee morning, or organising an event for us. We would really appreciate your help so why not contact us with your offer of help…. Contact Sue Lee Email sue.lee@tscca.org.uk Telephone 01845 523115
Donate
You may want to make a single donation or a regular commitment. This could be for a specific organisation, a particular activity or a general donation. If you wish to make a regular donation you could consider taking out a direct debit with your bank. This can easily be changed or cancelled as your financial circumstances change. If you would like to find out more about how donations are spent please speak to Sue Lee, our Office Manager. Email sue.lee@tscca.org.uk Telephone 01845 523115
Gift Aid your donation
If you are a UK tax payer then you can Gift Aid your donation. Gift Aid is a Government Scheme, administered by the HR Revenue and Customs Department, which enables charities to reclaim the basic rate tax you have paid as a tax payer. This means that for every £1.00 you donate we can claim an additional 28p.
To Gift Aid your donation you will need to download and complete this form.
Leave a legacy
To make a will or add a legacy to an existing will is straightforward and less expensive than you might think.
Knowing that we have sufficient funds in place means we can plan long term projects that will have a lasting impact. Being able to plan ahead with confidence makes such a difference.
All legacies left to charity are free from inheritance tax which may mean that your family has less tax to pay.
Please let us know what you decide to do. In the same way that it’s important for you to make provision for the future for your loved ones it helps us greatly to know how many people have decided to remember us in their wills. Not only does it allow us to plan for future projects, but it gives us the confidence of knowing that we can carry on making a difference in the years ahead.
There are two forms you can download. One can be used to change your will and should be completed and sent to your solicitor. The other form is for you to inform us if you decide to include us in your will.
If you do decide to leave a legacy to Thirsk, Sowerby and District Community Care Association, we would really appreciate it if you could fill in the form and return it to us. This information will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
Thank you. |
